Can someone tell me when the hell the NBA season ends

if ever? Sorry I am a little pissed off right now and in rant mode. I was expecting to watch the first episode of TNT's mini-series "Into the West" tonite. My girlfriend was coming over and I was going to cook her dinner (home made lasagna, garlic bread and a salad) and then we were going to cozy up and watch the show which she has been really looking forward to. I went to the the TV guide channel to double check the time and discovered that it has been preempted now till the Tenth of June because we have game 7 of the NBA Eastern Finals. So my angry question is when the hell are they going to have a championship team for the NBA it seems sometimes that the entire SEASON is the playoffs, that every team gets into the playoffs and that it never ends. Can someone who is more sports oriented assure me that one day the playoffs will be over?:rant:

Then starts up again in a couple of weeks.

Its like the NBA has a 50 week season.

this weekend said June the Sixth. It could have been an older add because it wasn't on TNT.

3. Stern keeeps pushing the date back every year

He made the first round a 7 game series which is the lastest excuse to squeeze out more profits.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week for six weeks, it was never schedule to run today as far as I know.

But don't worry, tonight's game will be the last one on TNT. ABC broadcasts the finals.
