It's 8:25pm (Pacific), and time for "CanuckAmok's Flix Pix"!
Yes, welcome to the first regular installment of what I'm sure will be an overwhelming success:

I pick an obscure (or not so obscure) movie I really like, and attempt to make you see it.

Tonight's pick of the litter is...

"...And God Spoke".

This 1993 mocumentary follows two independent fimlm producers as they attempt to create a feature film version of the entire Christian Bible.

The film opens with the producers' explanation of why they decided to launch such an ambitious project:

"...if you're going to make a movie based on a book, that's the one to do it on! A 4 billion person target audience, and at $7 dollars a ticket you can't go wrong!"

While not exactly "Spinal Tap", this movie stands on its own feet as a hilarious send-up of documentaries, and of the Hollywood movie industry.

Featuring nude ninjas, Soupy Sales as Moses, and Eve Plum as herself!
