Has anyone ever called their old childhood numbers? |
|
I still remember the number I had when I was a kid, my mother spent hours drilling it into us carefully, in case something happened. A few months ago, I was bored and called the number. Turns out that it now belongs to someone named Tito, whose girlfriend was very upset that "some skank ho" was calling HER man for no good reason. No matter what I said, I couldn't convince her that Tito wasn't seeing me on the side.

3. Um... that would be a yes? |

You DO call your mother, don't you? You know, she worries so much about you. Are you eating breakfast? And you're getting enough sleep? You're not still seeing that girl, are you? Here, let me get you a sweater, you know your father likes to keep it so cold these days...

4. Canada had recently only received telephone technology. |
|
We were one of the first families to have a phone, so my home number was "37". It no longer works, unless I add five more digits at random.

7. the most vivid memory I have of my old telephone |
|
was crawling in the corner by it and getting kicked and slapped by my brother. My mom saw the bruises and said "well you must have deserved them".

The people who live there now totally trashed my mom's beautiful landscaping and put up an ugly fence. :(
