5. That depends...
on whether she's going to be the one taking care of it or it's going to end up being his responsibility. Pets seem like one of those things a couple ought to agree on before bringing into the house.

8. I agree.
I would no more bring a pet into my house without my husband's agreement than I would attempt to bring a child into the house without his agreement!

In our family, though, it's me who has not agreed to get a dog. My husband wants one, but I would be the one feeding, walking, training, and scooping up after it, and I can't take on that responsibility right now.

14. greyhounds are high maintenance dogs
you should tell the mrs to do a little research on the care of greyhounds and see if she would be able to work with an adopted greyhound
