I was talking about this with someone and they can't believe democrats give a shit about the whole "boycott France" deal because OBVIOUSLY libruls are boycotting the US? Why should they care what anyone say about France?
Right. Honestly. I HATE AMERICA. I hate it! Because I don't support the president? Means I hate it. :eyes:

14. The funny part is that France wouldn't want the kind of people |
|
who would put a sticker like that on their car. Ugly Americans. I've seen them in action when I've been in Europe and it's embarrassing.

16. The other day someone told me... |
|
that she and her husband are boycotting Target because "it's a French company and they don't support the troops." It's like they're trying to make my head explode or something.
And I thought all this time those idiots calling it "Tar-shay" were just trying to be cute.

17. Dunno but I am pissed as hell that my husband's favorite bleu cheese |
|
has been banned from being imported due to the Patriot Act and Dept of Homeland Security! :wtf: Bleu cheese is a threat to the Fatherland? Huh?!?
Anyway, I love Canadians (well, the DUers from there that I read) and hope they will bring me Bleu Brest if they ever venture south again ;)

19. Yes, cheese became a problem lately |
|
The hoot is: neither Homeland security nor the department for agriculture wants to be responsible. The last time I checked, the homeland security page directed me to the USDA and the USDA page directed me to Homeland Security.
Well, I risked it and went stateside, my half suitcase was full of cheese - I got no problems with it, though.
What cheese is your husband's favorite?

23. Blue Brest. He found it while living in Europe decades ago. |
|
Always ordered it in at Christmas time for Christmas Eve supper (with champaign or course!) Found a wonderful shop in Vancouver, run by 2 sisters and had it shipped from there. The ladies were great about sending us the cheeses we would request. Can't recall the shop name, but one of them has a son who is a chef at some swanky restaurant. Very wonderful folks to deal with. Then, the sisters could no longer ship to us... Patriot Act! :eyes: We have tried many other places which advertise the particular cheese, only to meet with the same frustrating results.
US Patriot Act: Making the world safe for Cheeze Whiz by banning the good stuff!
