New radio station in town
WMKK or "Mike".

Their slogan is: We play everything.

Well, not EVERYTHING. They do tend to stay in the realm of pop/rock/R&B/disco. But you know, they do play a lot of stuff that you'd never hear anywhere else. Just last week I heard Rocky Burnette's "Tired of Towing the Line" which is a song I even forgot existed.

It's kind of fun to hear the Village People's "Macho Man" followed by Twisted Sister's "We're Not Going to Take It", followed by Big Country's "In a Big Country"

5. We have "Bob" in Austin
It was cool at first, but now the REALLY bad songs from the 70s and 80s are all they seem to play.

7. We've got The River
better known as Clear Channel.

At least there are not 13 year olds masquerading as DJs.
