Poll question: Marc Bolan. Glam-Rock God or Egomaniacal Coke-Snortin' Dwarf?
The DVD and CD Soundtrack to the Ringo Starr-directed (and bankrolled) film "Born To Boogie" were released today. Last month, Mojo Magazine ran a major article on its re-release and Bolan's life, death, and career.

I thought "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" was clever in a one-hit-wonder kind of way.

Beyond that, I never got the whole Marc Bolan / T-Rex "experience."

2. I remember that, and I didn't get Tyrannosaurus Rex either...
...I guess some people acknowledged him as a star, a guy with talent (in addition to the attitude, which I DO get)...
