And the slab where they burned his body, too; I never made it there. When I ever come back to the US that's going to be a roadtrip..

3. The words Eagles and Cool
should probably not collide in the same sentence.

10. Poco...
Randy Misner left Poco to help form the Eagles and Timothy B. Schmit stepped in to replace him in Poco. When Misner left the Eagles, Schmit stepped in to replace him there as well. Well, you don't really "replace" Misner, but you get my drift.

12. What do you think about Frey singing "Take It To The Limit" live?
I don't think it's so great at all. They lower the key to G, too.

27. Jack Tempchin
Tempchin wrote it, and the Eagles weren't the first to record it. There was an artist from texas that did it before Eagles did. I can't remember the artist's name, though. I hope someone can. Here is a pic of an original draft of Tempchin trying to formulate the song:

19. With none of the vocal acrobatics at the end.
They skip that completely.

}(

Oh well, at least they probably have to throw some money Randy's way every time they perform it.

Probably my favorite of theirs. Richie Furay was a God too, though he wrote his best song (Kind Woman) w/ the Buffalo Springfield..

Hell, they're the Eagles farm team. Or at least for bass players with high voices.
