3. It's bigger than I am
But I can probably defeat it with Klonopin.

8. Exactly what I was going to suggest! The big "K" takes away the anxiety
and helps sleep.

2. I know how that is!

If the dream pictures are following you around try this: Instead of trying NOT to think about them REPLACE them with a picture of something you love. Your kitten, flowers, whatever; decide on a picture and then use it always. It helps!

7. I had a strange nightmare this morning too
Some kind of four legged beast was trying to attack my cat in it and I was beating the thing off with some kinda rod and yelling at it. I woke up yelling and woke my girlfriend up while I was at it.

10. Mine was awful
It started as one of my standard nightmares (the kind I get a lot) and then got worse. Think a nightmare where all your friends turn into brain-eating zombies, and magnify it by ten...

13. Luckily, today I talked to most of the people I dreamed about
I was able to verify that they are not, in fact, anything like brain-eating zombies.

The visuals are still with me though. Ugh.

14. That must have been a hell of a relief. How did you "verify" that
they were not, indeed brain-eating zombies?

Did you just ASK them?

If so, bad move. Brain-eating zombies generally will deny being such.

I'd advise you to make damn sure your doors are locked tonight.

16. They may, however have been THINKING "Braaaaaaaains!"
and had enough self-control not to articulate it.

You know how clever THEY are.

Did you see any of them walking with their arms held straight out in front of them at about 1/112th of a mile per hour, like they do in the horror movies, and then you wonder how they ever get to eat anyone's brains, because the average non-zombie person could avoid something that moved so slow even after seven drinks?

Or is it just that zombie targets in movies are extraordinarily stupid?

Forgive the rambling;it's been a long day.

But you should think about this anyway.
