Let's face it: teflon * has managed to find someone else to take the blame every single time (which now seems to be every day!) a potential scandal comes his way. It appears that the P and the VP as well as Rove are goddamn near invulnerable in their ability to get out of jail free every single time.
So let's sit and think: there are currently about 10 (?) scandals all coming together at once: coin gate, the never-ending Iraq situation, the Galloway memo, and at least a dozen or so I haven't been keeping real good of an eye on.
So who is going to take the fall for each and/or any of them? Who will be the next repuke who will lose his career all for the "greater good" of the neocons and the religious right? I'm curious to see who is going to find hell a little earlier in their lives, especially in supporting this illegitimate regime. How many are left over from the Nixon, Raygun, Poppy admins? Since they're older, they're more likely to take the heat right now. It's going to be intriguing to see who's gonna pay the ultimate price for their loyalty.

Is there no one out there who wants to discuss this issue?

2. It's not that people don't want to discuss it. |

It's just that it's probably better subject fodder for general discussion rather than the lounge.
To the point of your posting, I'm not really sure that ANY scandals can bring down this regime. The corporate-owned media is so reluctant to stir things up that nothing is getting enough air time to make an impact. Add that to a disinterested and distracted populace and you have the basic recipe for why the administration is so teflon.
No one in Bush's immediate circle has to take blame. There is no G. Gordon Liddy to take the falls.
