2. 80, but I have a question-
is it more energy efficient to raise the temperature when you're not around or to keep it set at the same temp all the time? I don't mean to hijack the thread, but since we're on the topic...

6. I usually turn it up to about 80 when I'm at work
then lowering it to around 75 when I get home. Sometimes a little lower for a short while if it's really hot out.

3. I set it at 76, but lower it if my dog is panting too much and its
way too hot outside for him.

9. Used to set it at 72
but with "peak oil" and the "Summer of 2000 Enron Blackouts" here in Northern California - I kicked it up to 80.

Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 11:25 AM by AndyTiedye
It's 51 degress here. Been dropping into the low 40's at night.
We've got the heat on.

11. We don't have air conditioning here.
And I don't know anyone, including my wealthiest friends, who does. Air conditioning is considered "unhealthy" in much of this part of Europe. Having grown up in a state with super-hot summers and extremely high humidity, I lovelovelove air conditioning, but I have to admit that I haven't had a stopped-up nose in about six years.
