9. You should go to a game! It's CRAZY live. You really can't

get a feel for the speed of the game unless you see it live. And, you can actually see the plays develop - circling of the net, passing from stick to stick - It's awesome :D

I miss the NHL- it's probably the only professional sports league where Philly and Pittsburgh have a real rivalry.

BTW - I know Philadelphia has a really bad rep when it comes to the fans, but Philly fans went absolutely bonkers with appreciation when Mario Lemieux played his final game in Philadelphia. By the reaction of the fans and the scoreboard message, you would have thought he was a Flyer. It was a really cool thing to see.

I knew a girl who used to live right by him in the Detroit suburbs and they used to see him walking around his yard in the nude sometimes.

Shortly after that, I was at a Flyers game (I think Dino was playing for Washington at the time) and during the pre-game warm up, some guy shouted to him, "Hey Dino, how's it hanging?" He got red and skated off. :D
