2. Oh how I miss my annual trips to the park

Before moving to Ohio we would travel to Yellowstone once a year.
Stay in the Old Faithful Inn
Tour the park by car and then day hike some.

I love the southern Utah parks... Bryce and Zion... but Zion can get to hot in the summer. I want to go to Glacier so bad.

There was a study that said that 95% of park visitors only go within 20 yards of there vehicles or something like that. Get out on the trails, the place is huge, you can find elbow room.

17. that is true... its unbelieveable but true.... i spoke too soon....

i remember one time at Rocky Mountain it was SO crowded on the words and it was one time that we were driving across country (not vacation per se) and didn't have that much time and we were lamenting how crowded it was because we thought we didn't have time to get off the trail enoguh to get away from people... we went on the Bear Lake trail which is an EASY hike and one of the most popular trails and beyond 1/4 a mile from the trailhead there was NOBODY. amazing.

She ended up with a pixie haircut! It actually is a very nice cut for the summer, but this morning she had a little trouble understanding why I couldn't put it in a pony tail :D

12. I used to work at Old Faithful, Yellowstone is awesome.

We camped there last summer too
