5. If anyone in the band is going to constantly show up late, |
|
come up short on rehearsal space rent and bum other band members' smokes, it's the bass player.
That's just my experience though, your mileage, of course, may vary. I should note, however, that when I switched from bass to guitar, I became far more punctual. :P

that's usually the lead guitar player! ;)
Danny was so much cuter then. He's still a hyper smart aleck, though.

Whenever there was trouble in the band it was the bass player. Maybe it was just us. We would go to set up a gig, unload all the guitars, drums, PA bring it in then he would show up with his bass and amp. We would be busy setting up and he would have to go off and have a smoke. Made us crazy. We had to replace him ( he started a band with his brither) and the next guy was like Gods gift to the world just joined us. I know I'm really jaded but there was a while there that I thought that every evil in the world, if traced back far enough, would be caused by a bass player. Now my oldest is my bands bass player. Hell, I had to grow my own.

4. I was at a party one time and saw some guy that I swore I knew |
|
from my childhood. I racked my brain to remember who he was and couldn't, so finally I walked up to him and asked. Turns out he was Danny Bonaduce. I guess I was just remembering him from watching the Partridge Family. He still kinda looks the same. Some people say he is a jerk, but I ended up hanging out with him for quiet awhile and had a good time.
