Why does FR's layout, design, usability, etc.totally suck!

Why does FR's layout, design, structure, etc. look like total crap? Once you get in the forums the appearance totally sucks, the font set changes from page to page (you see this if you've ever trolled on their pages, and gone from various member account pages). It totally sucks. Why?

11. Well, it's like every other aspect of the right wing. . . it's totally

fouled up. But, if you ask them, they'll tell you it works perfectly. Not only that, if you improve it, they'll try and get a campaign going to reverse it back to how it was before it actually worked.

...and accuse people of sponging off of them, but Jim Rob takes donations, probably from more people than are on DU because I believe they are probably still bigger than DU, and does little if anything to make their site readable beyond 1995 standards for the users who send in those donations. The whole layout looks like one of those "guest books" that people used to have on their web pages years ago.

Either that, or the users sponge so much by not donating or donating little for the web site they use all the time.
