SANTA MARIA, Calif. - In an unusual development with jury deliberations under way, the judge in the Michael Jackson case planned to release a statement Wednesday. The subject of the statement and the timing of its release were not immediately known.

Nancy Grace is currently re-fueling her Flaming Nostrils.

2. What could it be?
A booted juror
Mistrial
Deal between sides
Hung Jury (unlikely)

3. Might be something ...
about Tom Cruise.

It's too early in the deliberations for a Mistrial.

Too early for a Hung Jury.

I'm thinking deal or booted juror.

I bet my next paycheck the defense is VERY eager to make a deal.

9. I don't know
the longer a jury takes, the better for the defense is a rule of thumb

But thenm again the case against Jackson is a lot of little charges---he could get jail time for a bunch of little things rather than the big one---child molestation

11. Hmmmm. I always thought the opposite.
The longer the jury takes, the better for the prosecution. Of course, OJ's trial took all of 4 hours for the jury. And it didn't take the Robert Blake jury very long, did it?

Still, I could very well be wrong. I can just imagine MJ himself is terrified of the idea of any jail time.

14. I did laugh at that, though.
Yes, bad taste. But someone would have said it anyway. :-)

18. Blake was almost two weeks.
I used to think that way too.

You never know.

Being that this is in Santa Maria. My take is that they are really looking at the law very close.

8. no, he wants to tell everyone
that the case against MJ is the most heinous case of persecution since the Nazi Holocaust

then he read Pastor Neimollers poem and said he had to "speak out"

12. Speaking of Nancy Grace, did anyone
else see her on Larry King last night, spouting her usual bullshit? What was even more sickening was all of the callers who were fawning all over her, saying she was a ray of compassion in a cruel legal world filled with lawyers who don't care (I'm not making that up), and how she was their shining beacon, their role model, etc., etc., BLECH! Then, when they were showing pictures of her and her fiance who was murdered, she got really quiet when she was talking and sounded tearful.

Now, I'm the first to be extremely sympathetic to what had to be the worst and most difficult event she ever had to deal with in her life, but that was over 25 years ago! It's time to get on with her life and move on. I don't even think her fiance, Keith, would have wanted her to spend her life mourning him and never getting on with her life, especially considering how young she was when he was murdered. And her taking it out on everyone and anyone who's arrested at all, insisting that EVERYONE arrested is guilty regardless of the evidence, is just too much.
