Did you ever run off a cliff and hang there in the air.
and then either read a book about gravity and fell, or held up a sign that says "HELP!" and then fallen?

It is not the fall that gets you, it is the sudden stop.

7. Yes, and someone needs to talk to their highway department...
about all the bridges that are out and the roads that go straight off cliffs and stuff. But I bet it is hard with a stupid coyote cutting holes in everything and blowing stuff up. I think they should sue ACME.

3. Almost ran off a cliff
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 12:28 AM by burrowowl
Luckily the Ghia hung on, 2 tires on gravel (treacherous) and 2 on the road. I lookked and thought if I go over I hope I land in that big tree about a 100 ft down. Needlessly to say, I was not saying the act of contritrition, like the good nuns taught me said say under dire straits. I was cussing up a storm and concentrating on what to do if I got proper tration.

15. I did put a butterfly
in my panties when I was strolling in the Sandias (same as cliff incident) and saw a bear about 50 yards away. I licked my finder to feel the wind, I was good so I huddled behind a rotting log to see which way the bear would go. It took the short cut so I took the long cut. And removed my panties before sitting in the car.

4. I ran off an olympic dive in Carsbad, NM....
I swear to God I stopped in mid-air, If I had a sign, I would have held it up. I proceeded to fall forever in a cannonball.

I had never done it before, and did it because a younger cousin did it....

...I didn't fully appreciate the social interaction value of DU... if you looked back at some of my posts just a matter of months ago I railed against silly threads and the such. I have come full circle, having posted some silly threads myself!
