UFO star and political activist Ed Bishop "Straker' 1932-2005
I know some of you were fans, and some were introduced through the DVDs coming out. Ed, who was born George Victor Bishop, was one of us through his activism. Sadly he recently passed away. I don't have all the details as yet. One less person to guard the door. That's him in the fedora and trench at the March 2004 protest in London, portraying Bush. And of course, Ed as Straker, one of my favourite ones. I have been a fan for years, and I came to admire him even more for his activism so I am saddened.

yes, and this missing volume was leather bound, and a valuable one. Ed became involved in Greenpeace and anti-nuclear and anti-war activism in the footsteps of his son, Daniel, who passed away in a car accident. Ed never really recovered from losing his son.

Here are some more. This is really sad for me.

And in his honor, my name is Amelia.

2. Aw man...
I love Ed Bishop! I was (and still am) a huge fan of UFO, and I later came to appreciate him all the more for his work in the trenches. He is direly missed.

...back in the day.

Had no idea that Bishop was any sort of activist.
