They really try and pretend to be progressive, try and steer the conversation towards a defeating democratic position, all the while saying that they are just upset Dems.

or
we should really stop saying or doing the thing that the MSM says in an unpopular choice or position but only because it's bad the repub.

Like for instance, "I like Dean. I supported him in the primary but he's got to start being calm and respectful and reiterating Repub talking points so we can get their voters."

To which I'd respond, "Yep that's been our strategy for a while. How's it working?" Like we don't realize that there are repubs here trying to influence us?
