I need a posse

I've been here a long time and while I love
the DU community, my main purpose is to inform,
debate, amuse at times and support well written
posts.

I haven't made it a priority to make pals on
this site...some I just know are in my balcony
which I appreciate but I don't go out of my
way to cultivate.

I realize at times I need someone at my back...
a posse, to vote my stuff onto the front page
(I know, in a fantasy world its the best and brightest
that get voted on, but we know it's who has people
at their back AND a decent post)

I don't play in the Lounge very often although
the friendships are clearly fun to watch.

I think this post of mine needs nominating and I'm
openly and perhaps crassly asking that it is:

I think it's important that more people read it, not
