Just wanted to toot my own horn. :+
First job--2nd job interview, hired on the spot for part time, retail in a dept. store. Because I have no job experience, I was expecting it to be a little more uphill than it was, so I'm relieved that it wasn't.
Started applying on Monday, hired by Thursday. :)

Try online applying online w/ department stores..that's where I had the best luck. I just got hired @ Macy's--I also have a friend who used to work at a different Macy's..they usually do group interviews and hire on the spot, so I'd give them a try if you haven't considered them before. Best of luck. :)

4. It's good job experience because you work directly with |
|
customers. The hours kind of suck depending on where you work.

Evening hours, but I have the time (esp. this summer) and need the experience. I'm glad cause it'll give me something I can put on future resumes later.
