One day, a woman was walking outside on a wintry day
When she heard a faint voice under the snow, "Help me."
When she brushed away the snow from a snowbank, she found a shivering snake freezing underneath.
"Save me, please. I don't want to die.", said the animal, much to the surprise of the woman.
Being a kind and compassionate woman who was fascinated by a talking snake, she decided that she had to save the reptile. She quickly bundled the poor creature in her scarf and brought it home. She started a fire in her fire place and left some water for the snake. Pretty soon the snake recovered and started to move.
This made the woman very happy, as the snake told her that she saved it from a frozen death. The snake said that it was still too cold, and since it was a cold blooded creature, it needed some help to warm up. The woman picked up the snake and held it close to her bosom.
Just as the woman held the snake close to her warm breast, the snake lashed out and bit her.
The woman screamed, dropped the snake and said, "Why? Why did you bite me? Now I'm going to die!"
"It's simple... I couldn't help it.", said the snake. "What's that got to do with anything?", she replied.
The perplexed snake looked up and said, "Why everything, you stupid bitch. I'm a god damned snake, if you haven't noticed. It's in my nature."
