Any homebrewers out there tonight?

I'm starting a batch of a light American ale this evening for my parents anniversary in six weeks. Unfortunately, most of my homebrew equipment is still in storage - we just moved from Georgia back to Minnesota - so I'm forced to go with a single-stage fermentation. Haven't done this since my first batch back in the early 80s.

It's possible to make decent homebrew with just a one-stage fermentation, right?
