And, damn, they still sound spectacular.

4. They actually did sound pretty good
They looked to be all original. I bet they do the "Jet" tune pretty well.

34. Lead singer Doug Feiger
He's the brother of Kevorkian attorney-turned celebrity trial pundit Geoffrey Feiger

I thought they were pretty good. And they haven't aged as badly as some of the other bands on that show.

38. I figured that out when I saw an interview with Doug Fieger a while back..
...and he said he was from Michigan originally.

Well, maybe since his brother's not defending Dr Death anymore, he can get on the case with Capitol Records (or whomever) and get that old "Live at Carnegie Hall" video released on DVD.

5. They did
The show is about old bands that do their big hit, then they come out and do a new tune. The audience votes and whoever wins gets to donate 20,000 dollars to their favorite charity.

6. dammit I missed it!
My mother hated that song. She always said it was inappropriate for me to listen to-so I used to turn it up full blast.

He put up a hell of a bitch when he started "House of the rising Sun". I guess it comes with the territory.

And he's not complaining. The songs are about the same in terms of subject matter, actually.

24. Don't feel sorry for me listening to it. I love that song.
I was thirteen years old when it came out. :)

Feel sorry for me that we've been told it's on Shrubby's iPod, and I now have THAT unpleasant association.

Perhaps they performed it that way, but it was left on the cutting room floor (so to speak).
