Oh, yeah, and the spoiled milk that was THREE WEEKS past the expiration they served my kids the last time I was there (a little over a year ago).

18. I would definitely flirt with you . . . |
|
. . . if I were thinking about dating someone I met on the Internet.
But that would be stupid.
If I ever change my mind, you'll be the first to know! ;)

I am married anyway, and would not do the "internet dating thing" even if I were single.
But harmless flirtation is always fun! ;)

17. The police were trying to pull her over in the drivethru. |
|
She had numerous warrants out for her and supposedly a almost working meth lab in the back. She decided she was going out on her terms and not the police.

You're not saying that pieces of her brain, skull, teeth and blood flew in through the drive-thru window and got all mixed up in the taco meat, are you?

|
and, unfortunately it really did happen. That kind of sucks because I went there the next day to get a bean burrito and all I could really think about was walking around the lot instead trying to look for matter. That would have been cool to have found some but I admit to being a sick person.

I have had several 'knowns' in my life.
two of these are (i'm only willing to share two of them) 1. That my appendix would rupture and require emergency surgery. I have 'known' this since I was a child. It ruptured in 1999, sat for a week or so, misdiagnosed as an ovarian cyst. I nearly died. I tried to tell them it was my appendix.
2. that I would someday find a dead body. and not one that died of natural causes.
that one hasn't happened yet, I hope I am wrong, but it's what I think about when I look at ditches along the highway and empty lots in the city, or on long hikes in the country.
sick is relative. I would have looked with you.

We have the Missouri River not too far away. Lots of people have gone in there and not come out. We might just find something.

I knew a week before John Belushi died that he would die.
I also knew at age 13 that I would have to have a hip replacement before I was 30, even though the doctors blamed my problems on "growing pains"

I wonder if we need a separate thread about 'knowns'? they are creepy, right? I mean, what ten year old knows/thinks they are going to find a dead body someday? or that they will have an emergency appy? I have more, but it kinda weirds me out to think about them.
edit: I am tired. this reads like i am now ten years old. I am in my thirties. I have known since i can remember. phht.
