Anyone ever see "The Motorcycle Diaries"?
Watched this last night and was mezmorized. So amazing to think that the evolution of one person can happen so quickly....

Any thoughts?

1. Rented the DVD a few months ago
Great movie, imo. Great scenery, great story, great actors.... Just great :-).

2. Yes...I kind of likened it to the transformation of Siddhartha Guatama
to the Buddha. The movie was like his Po tree moment.

:-), but I wonder what Che's life was like as he grew up. There had to be some guidance there, I think.

4. I haven't yet but I read the book
It makes me wonder if the movie has been shown in Cuba. Because the book is actually banned. They felt that Che was too bourgeois at the time.

They may have lifted the ban because I read this around the time they were bringing his body back to Cuba after that Bolivian general had told them where to find it.

10. Excellent movie
Everything about it was well done. Che, as he became known, didn't live much longer after this but caused a big stir in a short time. His compassion, as shown in the film, was his inspiration.
