Funniest kid book ever.
My son was just cracking up like crazy (he's almost 4).

Post some more favorite children's books. :)

This is okay I hope?

2. That was my son's favorite book too!!!
Even at 13, he won't let me put it into storage with the rest of the younger kid's books :)

Yeah, my mom gave away the one from my childhood.
Although it was to a needy family, so I can't complain too much.

Was just annoyed when I went to buy a new copy for my kids and saw that. Pooey!

9. I HATE THAT BOOK
my kids loved it and made my wife and I read it all the time. And we had to use the charaters voices too.

Other books I read often are
Bialoski's Picnic
The Pokey Little Puppy
Goodnight Moon

10. Mooses Come Walking

Mooses Come Walking

by Arlo Guthrie

Mooses come walking over the hill
Mooses come walking, they rarely stand still
When mooses come walking they go where they will
When mooses come walking over the hill

Mooses look into your window at night
They look to the left and they look to the right
The mooses are smiling, they think it's a zoo
And that's why the mooses like looking at you

So, if you see mooses while lying in bed
It's best to just stay there pretending you're dead
The mooses will leave and you'll get the thrill
Of seeing the mooses go over the hill

Mr. Brown Can Moo. Can you?
Some other Geisel book about spotz and living at the zoo... can't recall the name.

24. Here you go...

My parents saved all my books from when I was little and I have such a great time reading them to my kids.

This was another one of my favorites. I like Mr Brown, too.

You should try to find Wacky Wednesday. It is another Dr Suess book.

It is a great thinking book for little kids. There are goofy things wrong in every picture (like a table missing a leg) that the kids need to try and find. The story is fun, too.

21. My 19 month old loves that book
I could recite it forward, backward and upside down at this point. It is a fun book to read, though. You can really ham it up. Another current fave with both of them is Wild About Books, about a zoo where the animals set up their own library.

22. Stinky Cheese Man
<>

Author: Jon Scieszka

Illustrator: Lane Smith

Publisher: Viking, Penguin Books

Award: Caldecott Honor Book 1993

Topics: fairy tales, humor, mixed up

Ages: 4-adults

Summary:
This is a fun collection of familiar fairy tales. Each story starts as the regular fairy tale we know and love, when suddenly it takes off and gets mixed up usually with another fairy tale. These new, silly revisions are combined with varied letters, capitals, and type to make for an unusual book. The combination of the text and the illustrations make a fun environment for the "fairly stupid tales".

Kat Kong and When Cats Dream (see my sig line).

The former is more of a story; the latter is almost like a long illustrated poem. Great books for kids (and adults)!
