3. I'm not going to be arrogant and say that I know everything. |

No one knows everything. That's impossible.

6. There are tons of things I do not know, but I do know a lot. |

I know more factually than most people I meet in daily life (this place is an an exception to that generality).
It actually is a terrible burden to have a higher IQ and above average memory capacity. I dumb down quite a bit when around my friends, in order not to trigger the American penchant for anti-intellectualism. They can get intimidated pretty easily, so I just try really hard not to let out stuff that shows my knowledge.
The same happens on the Net, at times. It is easy for people to pin "know it all" on me, and I actively try to underperform and dumb down to avoid being a target. But I still frequently am.
My job consumes a minor fraction of my mental capacity, and yet my performance is acceptable. At the place I work, showing inititiative is punished rather than rewarded -- common in most U.S, corporate settings, if the media are accurate.
I find most people are really satisfied and content with rote kind of lives, where nothing new ever happens and they live in a fuzzy comfort zone. I'm the opposite, always seeking out new knowledge and new environments.
I generally take refuge in books a very few people with whom I can really "be me."
Of course, that whole discourse was on factual knowledge. There is a whole 'nother realm of spiritual knowledge where I am an eager student, and that is completely separate from intellectual knowledge. I have been blessed to have great teachers in the spiritual realm.
