1. You know, it's great to live in a democracy
And maybe one day we'll be doing that again.

7. great...I'm opposed to people reading books by Ann Coulter
or Bill O'Reilly.

Does that mean I can refuse to check them out to people in the library I work at, then?

9. I think if you make it a matter of your personal religion
Then, yes. But then, how many conservatives actually know where their neighborhood library is?

16. And Randi made the concomitant point
That for a woman in her position (post-hysterectomy), sometimes a doctor will prescribe birth control pills for hormone replacement or stabilization. Is it really up to the pharmacist to second-guess a person's doctor?

19. oh, absolutely
these idiots just go with their stupidity, never thinking about the fact that virtually any medication can be legitimately prescribed for more than one reason.

11. Lemme tell ya this here...
...if they decide he has a right not to fill those scrips, that then means that the store will have to have someone ELSE there to fill them. That means the store will have to have TWO pill-counters instead of one.

Aint gonna happen. Someone is gonna be out of a job.

As in, "Duh, gee, I feel it is immoral to keep all these prisoners locked up, and I'm a jailer so I got the keys to the jail...so I'm gonna let 'em out."

Or, "Yeah, I know there is a deadline coming, but it is against my religion to work overtime, so someone else will have to do it."

DID YOU HEAR IT IS FRIDAY?????

12. Actually, Pryor is seen as an extremist by a sizeable...
...segment of the population here.

And stereotypes suck.

Happy Friday!

15. The point she was making
Was that Priscilla Owen is viewed as an "extremist" in some circles in Texas, as Janice Rogers Brown is viewed as an "extremist" by some folks in California. Heavy emphasis on the word "viewed," which I tried to bring out in my spelling of the word. It was sort of a continuum joke there. Maybe you had to have heard it.

13. Ohmigod
Republicans are pandering to the nutso religious right! Well, we all know how wrong that is. After all, Howard Dean said it, so it can't possibly be true.

I hope Drudge calls Randi to tell her how wrong she is to say such a thing.
