Some assclown shithole fuckhead keyed my car |
|
I have no stickers to arouse anyone's ire.
I do not know any of my neighbors.
There is no reserved parking in my complex.
I drive a small Japanese model sedan, which is economical, so I have no idea why.
Just a random act of ignorant, juvenile, and probably drunken unkindness. The complex is going to hell, as is typical during long Republican reigns.
Got the rear passenger door, window, and hood scratched up with "scribbling" patterns.
I am not very materialistic, and I am certainly far from being well-off, but I can't shake the sense of violation I feel.
Fucker!

18. That's a pretty common recreational sport in my neighborhood. |
|
I once got my passenger side mirror kicked off. Didn't have the money to fix it at the time, so I just threw it in the trunk and left it. I finally had to do something when, a month later, parked on the same block, someone kicked off the friggin' driver side mirror too.
Since then, my poor car has only had to endure the occasional black magic marker drawn over my anti-Bush sticker. People are assholes.

I have a $100 comprehensive deductible with my insurer, and they already confirmed that being an act of vandalism, I am not at fault.
I realize some people have higher deductibles, and I am lucky this is all I am set back.
Also, I am choosing to get it repaired, although I will be paranoid about the parking lot until I am able to move.

I don't know if I should be more annoyed with that person or myself for being so unobservant. :eyes:
Some people are such jerks. I'm sorry about your car. :pals:

They said it is optional I report it to the police (I think this is a state law issue), and I am not sure what the police can do in the absence of evidence, for I doubt there are prints or such.
I WILL notify my apartment manager, just to let them know what a pleasure it will be to vacate this place. :-)

Would probably be 1,000 miles away.
Knowing where I live, it was some drunken redneck loser who gets off from the "high" of vandalism. And likes war and Bush and stuff...

...likes to post those "Is it wrong for me to (fill in the vandalism or property destruction here)?" posts will read yours to see what the effect is!!!!
Vandalism is ALWAYS wrong. I am sorry it happened to you. I have had my own experiences with it, so I know full well the powerless/angry reaction it invokes.

I agree. For anyone who vandalizes a car for ANY reason, they have run out of ideas or imagination. As for anyone who claims to be a liberal because the "freeper deserved it", has just lowered themselves BELOW the level of their target.

I have never, in 20 years of owning cars, been the target of a keying. But the narrowness and depth of the scratches suggest such.
Where I live, I suspect bored Republican college pricks.

I see cars that have been keyed all the time, and I simply don't get it. Why would anyone want to do such a thing?
One of my friend's fathers had a pumpkin thrown through his window once, for no good reason.

20. My dear Seneca! I am so sorry about your car, but I am more sorry |
|
about how violated you feel...Because this is a violation of you, of where you live and drive...The car is an extension of yourself, and when it is harmed, so are you...
Getting it fixed will help a lot, and moving will help more. Having your own enclosed garage will be most helpful...I hope that you will have one some day.
