Poll question: Rye Or Whole Wheat?
TCM, traditional chinese medicine, uses dietary therapy after diagnosis and I have to lay off 100% wheat bread and am left with corn and rye.

It's been a long time since I've appreciated a fresh loaf of real Jewish rye bread (more rye than wheat).

Just outta curiosity, any rye bread fans out there?
Also, anyone have a recipe?

1. Real rye
The German sourdough with hard crust. Bread that you have to chew to eat. Not that stuff that's only good for carp bait.

4. I don't make rye bread ..I just eat
it..the kind hobbit talks about. I also eat organic corn tortillas and do well on both but something about whole wheat doesn't make for me anymore.

Interesting about the TCM and dietary therapy after diagnosis..which is as it should be.

7. Ergotism
only comes from flour made from infected seed. The bread after baking, does not develop ergot mold.

9. Yes, I know
Nevertheless, it does happen from time to time that infected grain gets into the food supply.
