IMO it's sailed beyond the current state of The Simpsons. Peggy Hill has got to be the most self-absorbed character in TV history. Yesterday I heard a great line from Hank Hill; "That's great, Bobby! I always said you had plenty of untapped bulk."

Damn, I've never seen the episode you're describing. But anything involving right win nutcase Dale Gribble is gold.
