I guess it applies to motorcycles and boats, too. That's gonna suck.

5. Feds came up with it I guess. For every state but Alaska
although they're enacting a seatbelt law up there for kids on their sleds to take effect in October I heard.

4. Hmm--

8. What about helmets for bathing.
Folk slip and fall in the tub and shower all the time. And just because corporations manufacturing helmets would make a mint doesn't mean they shouldn't get some sort of tax break, too. It comes down to profits....um, I mean safety.

(I'm being facetious.)

9. That's why conventional showers & tubs are slated to be outlawed in '08
Too many lawsuits. The bottoms of tubs manufactured after '08 will have to be made of astroturf.

10. I wonder how much Merry Maids charge to keep
Astroturf on the tub bottom clean? That's gotta be fun.

12. That's the price you have to pay for safety, but think of it this way...
Imagine how nice it'll feel when you decide to take a bubble bath.

13. Why not strap us all in our beds while they're at it?
Or put us in straightjackets...That'd be a good way to keep people from presenting a terrorist threat. :eyes:
