what is a bug?

7. A bug is

a programming error. In the old, old days, programs were simple and computers were huge. Most computer program failures were caused by (grimace) cockroaches getting into the circuitry and causing various failures as they were electrocuted and burst into flame. which created heat and attracted the bug. So they daily had to literally clean the bugs out of the computer.
