You know Lieberman makes me think of that show all of the time. No wonder I can't take him seriously. Among other obvious reasons.

3. Actually a very talented character actor.
I wouldn't be surprised if he left "Alf" off his resume.

6. OhioBlues
Swear to God -- Lieberman's voice reminds me of Max Wright, too. I thought I was the only one.

It is now six days, 23 hours and 18 minutes to FUNDAY. All Ohioans are invited to attend (we're only two hours north of Toledo).

8. Well, I don't want to hijack this thread
But, if you head over to the Michigan forum in the State/Country folder, we have LOTS of details (including a DU guest list of sorts) over there.
Still not too late to get your reservation in. And bring a friend.

9. You know that dude is a crackhead right?
He went off and turned into a gay crackhead. I remember the story from about 4 or 5 years ago. Pretty funny actually.

13. AAR's Morning Sedition had a game show based on this
They played five audio clips and challenged listeners to determine whether each clip was from a Joe Lieberman speech or from the dad on ALF. NOBODY was able to guess all of the clips. It was just unbelievable; not only did the voice sound the exact same in all the clips, but the blowhard rhetoric was dead-on, as well.
