How burn CDR or DVD+ or-R? |
|
I would like to burn an MPG file so I can view it from my home entertainment DVD player. What format? I have the ability to burn it to CDR or DVDR plus or minus.
Thanks

Create it as a VCD or SVCD and it MIGHT play in your home DVD player. Most do, but some are notoriously finicky.
Use the Nero Express...tell it SVCD...then when tells you to pick the file, choose your mpg and hit next until the burn.

3. Ask it out for a date and then don't show up! |

Seriosuly though, programs like Nero or Ulead Movie Maker would do the work of making a menuing system and doing the final burn at the end.
Depending on the quality of the video, either format works. If the resolution is LESS than 640x480 then use MPG1 and burn it to a CD. Most DVD players can read the video CD (VCD) format. VCD is similar to MPEG1 , barring some minor differences...
And when you get to the wizard's selection menu, burn a Video Disc and not a Data disc. :-)
