Has anyone used supplement drinks?
On the advice of my doctor, I bought some "Blast" last night. I haven't had the courage to try it yet though.

1. Sometimes I find that I need more drinks than I'm getting through normal..
consumption. That's when I order shots to deliver the alcohol I need to my system quickly

2. do you need to gain weight?
My skinny ex who was in good health used them without success for this purpose.

However I have several friends who were ill who used them very successfully to maintain their weight. I think it somewhat depends on genetics. A supplement won't overcome your DNA but it can help you keep your genetic heritage.

4. Yes,
I used them back in my weight lifting days when I wasn't busy jabbing steroids into my ass cheek.

8. I haven't been eating enough and have been losing weight
I noticed that they aren't exactly high calorie, but I have started to show some signs of poor nutrition and need something until I can get back on track with a better diet. From what I can tell, I am not a person whose metabolism significanly decreases with less calories.

12. One way to get extra protein/calories in your diet
is to add dry powdered milk to sauces, etc.

5. Rather expensive, but worth every penny: SuperGreens and Prime pH
It cleanses the body and promotes a state of slight alkalization. It has been proven repeatedly that illnesses such as cancer simply cannot thrive in an alkaline medium. It has also been proven that sick people have very low (highly acidic) pH.

If you research the products, you will discover that they have been developed by a man named Dr. Robert O. Young. He's from Utah and is a direct descendant of Brigham Young. I know that many of us here at DU have serious problems with the Mormon religion, and in many cases it's justified. BUT, I will not let that fact bias me against the products or the science behind them.

It's actually very tasty. I've been using it, and the original Greens+, for about 6 years now.
