23. They stopped making the Canary Island cigars around
97 or 98. Which sucked because the Canary Island Coronas were my favorite smokes.

Edited on Sat Jun-11-05 11:15 PM by fujiyama
I've never had a very nice cigar...Usually the cheap stuff. I really want to try a Cuban sometime.

There's nothing quite like a good cigar and a drink.

18. My aunt used to own a tobacco shop till about 7 years ago
when she retired. I used to help out a lot and learned about tobacco, cigars and pipes. I also made a lot of connections and friends who also knew about them. When I was in the army one them used to keep my supplied with Cuban cigarettes. He traveled often there and would pick up a carton for five bucks. Cuban cigarettes are made out of the excess tobacco when they cut the leaves for cigars. So they are fine smokes.

Those big double coronas or whatever they are, wrapped in the tissue paper. Or even the bundles. What a steal!

19. My husband sometimes smokes Cubans when he visits
Canada. So far, he hasn't said anything about them being very remarkable. I bet he isn't spending much on them, though. What should he try when he's there (in Canada) again?

Make sure he goes to a store that has them in a humidor.

On Edit:

Stick them in a freezer - that's right - for 48 hours. It get rid of the bugs!

25. Depends on what kind he likes
If he likes a strong smoke that will kick his but then try Cuabas or a mid flavored the Bolivar. I good mild smoke would be a Cohiba, Trinidad or Fonseca.

30. Cohibas are sooooo overrated and overpriced! He should go
with Hoyo de Monterrey or my personal fave, Bolivar. Fonseca is fine, too. Ooooh----Partagas Reserve #4 (beautiful cigar with a pretty red ribbon around it, and boy is it good!). Punch or Romeo y Julieta if he likes 'em milder.

I may dig into my cigars here shortly (I have a couple Cuban Cohibas I'm saving, but there's someother good'uns too) or pull out the hookah later.
