This just in - I'm boring

Earlier tonight I ended up accidentally at the little pub at the end of our street. It was rocking... live band playing good tunes, EVERYONE was dancing, I saw a couple people I knew, and there was even a dog wandering around.
It reminded me so much of my days on Gabriola Island... great musicians and nice people have a great time. Only place I've ever ended up in a toking circle that invloced the whole bar out front.
Anyway, my roomie called, she's with some out of town friends... they had went there earlier but left because they stopped serving food.
She asked me if I'd go to a local night club with them. I turned down the invite. Sitting in some club where it's too loud to hear people and the music is shitty anyway is not fun to me.
"Hey lets go to 'Station creek' (the name of the pur I was in earlier)," I said.
"No we're going to hang out at the parrot... come down."
I said, " Hell no the pub was rocking we should all go there and have a good time."
Then she calls me boring.

Now, I ask you... what is more fun... partying down hard in a hidden pub in an almost wedding reception type atmosphere.. or going to a typical nightclub where a bunch of 20 somethings bore and annoy me to death with their predictable tastes and clothing and music... etc?

What would you rather do?

Those are my churches, in a way. I'd party w/ you, though; it'd be interesting to see who would pass out first..

3. It wasn't that you were boring, it was the fact

that you used the phrase "they had went" instead of the proper "they had gone" that turned her off.

Just my guess.

8. I don't know if it is age or taste.

But I lost my interest in the loud noisy places a long time ago.
Now I like a bar that is subdued and where you can sit and have a drink and talk. And it is not a meat factory.
