Are you a member of our local County Democratic party?
If not, you're wasting your time writing comments into an internet echo chamber. It may feel good, but it does nothing to get this country back onto the right track.

Even in the off season, you are needed to table events, register voters, go down to your state capitol and give moral support, write letters to the editor. That's what real activism is all about, because swing voters don't show up here.

But also understand that the D.U. is not a place for Democratic activism. It doesn't actually do anything. And "I've posted X times in the D.U." is nothing to brag about.

Rather, please (truthfully) post the following:

"I've registered my 200th Democrat!"

"I've knocked on my 1000th door!"

"I've tabled my 20th event!"

"I've phoned my 1000th campaign call!"

"I've gone to my 10th State capitol rally!"

"I'm a Precinct Captain (Precinct Committee Person)!"

Then you'll really have something to brag about.
