Need a program to convert CD tracks to WAV files.

I posted this some weeks ago, but sorry to say I lost the results I printed out. In the meantime I've downloaded dBPowerAmp, but find it real hard to work with. Any other suggestions? Freeware/shareware would be swell, but other options are good too.

Just tell it you want it to rip to WAV instead of MP3.

4. Pricey, but I love

Roxio Easy Media Creator. It does just about "everything" and is very user friendly, does sound, video, photos, etc. Large, large program to download (abt 4 hours on my high speeed DSL) and costs about $100.

for years with no problems. What problem are you having with it?

8. I don't know.

Apparently there's some additional add-on I'm supposed to download in order to get the damn thing to save files in WAV format. It's really not very intuitive at all. Nothing's making sense.

Maybe I have to mull it over a bit longer.

9. The wav codec

is in the program. I save everything as mp3 since it takes up a lot less space(about 7-1 ratio). If you're having problems PM me

it has a batch conversion untility that will strip any or all tracks from a CD to WAV. I've used it for years...

or has a trial version, something like that. Anyway, you can rip CDs to WAVs with it (and then encode to MP3, if you want).
