3. I hate it when people use "People" and "Folks" as a salutation.... |

Like this:
"People, we have to get on the ball about this!"
or
"Folks, you have to care about blah, blah, blah."
It makes the person saying "People!" or "Folks" look as if he or she thinks he or she is superior to the people he or she is addressing.
That grates me.
