Poll question: Confess: are you a total geek?
Edited on Mon Jun-13-05 05:07 PM by SarahBelle
I am. I don't look like one (which makes it complicated sometimes), but I am. I'm quite content with that as well. This guy I work with recently said to me, "I know what kind of guys you like. Freaky geeks!" Geesh, is it that transparent? Seems to be the theme though since puberty. :P

Behold yee, the power of geekdom!

3. Huge geek. I watch Stargate SG1, play Magic: The Gathering,
I love video games, and I have a friend who has a game store where I spend a lot of time hanging out when I'm not at work.

And yet somehow I manage to keep a girlfriend...

6. Well, she doesn't like SG1 or Magic. However
I have gotten her to come to DU meetups (very geeky, I'd say) and play some RPG and Strategy games with me and other people.

4. Are you trying to insinuate that geekitude is *not* cool?
And whose this "Yee" person?

9. I'm gonna go with "slight geek"
I don't think I have the typical interests of one to be a true geek: I'm not that great with computers or in math/science and not much into sci-fi. I figure those are all important requirements to being a true geek.

But I am a geek about the stuff I am into, like politics, some aspects of American history, record collecting, music trivia, etc. And I'm not very at sports and have never been good at them. I'm pretty "well-behaved", very shy, and never try very hard to fit in with most people. So in many ways I am definitely a geek.
