This cop on Law and Order: SVU just now said, "We marry them just to have it available. Tell me, how do you rape a wife?"
It makes me wanna barf thinking that people actually think that way!! Oh dear god. :scared:

1. At common law, one could not rape a wife...
Most jurisdictions have modern statutes that close that "loophole"

5. This thread is an interesting comment
on the difference between "them" and "us"

The fact that a line from a TV show elicits a discussion of the issue from us. A line on the same TV show elicits calls for censorship from them.
