1. It's a sign from God that you shouldn't exercise. |

Spend more time posting gratuitous Tom Cruise threads in the lounge.

Cats sleep 18-20 hours a day.
Carry her elsewhere and exercise. If she wakes up, she'll be back asleep soon anyway.

None of the cats I ever gently transported were upset by the treatment. Same with dogs that were small enough to be carried. Critters only got chased when they were into something dangerous, which was pretty rare. The big dogs didn't get carried, but didn't get yanked or whacked around, either.
Although I don't have the worshipful attitude toward cats (or dogs) that a lot of people do, I have always treated mine well. Food, toys, scratching devices, health care, even flashlight pointers. I even learned how to use a Dremel drill to slowly sand down sharp claws and tricks to make medicine undetectable.
Treadmills aren't good for pets. Even when it's turned off, there are still places that can catch paws and tails. And if a pet's owner is hospitalized with, for instance, a heart attack, then the future will be dicey, indeed.

Haven't you learned yet to pour the water quietly so as not to wake the kitty? Poor thing is probably exhausted from being awakened and then having to walk ALL the way over to the bowl. :P
