16. If you haven't noticed, boobies are NOT trendy right now

Right now the build that every actress wants is the Paris Hilton look -- super skinny with almost no chest whatsoever. And, in the "real world" (and I would assume Hollywood too) girls with larger breasts, no matter how slight their build is, think that big = fat, and often go on dangerous diets to try to change the way they look. I'm more or less Lohan's age (two or three years older) and I also have more or less the same build she naturally does. Trust me, all the questions of "Wow, are they real?" just make things much, much worse. I can't imagine the pressure she must be under: does anyone remember how, when Mean Girls came out, people characterized her as "fat"? No, she certainly wasn't fat, it was just that her co-stars were the normal Hollywood skinny. And now this "her breasts are too big" thing from Disney. No wonder this girl seems to have an eating disorder.

Someone in this thread said that Lindsay Lohan is a terrible role model for girls, but I think if she can turn her recent weight loss around and speak out about it, she could be just the opposite.

It's not that big breasts = "fat", it's that in the minds of puritans, big breasts are too sexual or something.

You really have to get into the minds of woman-hating puritans to understand what is behind this. It's sick, I know, but some people really think this way.

Historically, large breasts are reminders of breeding. They are also considered "low class" by some.

Also, any woman who has them is presumed to have breast implants.

They are saying this crap about an eighteen year old girl who can't help how her body looks.

But ultimately, large breasts mean you are too sexual and therefore lower class. In the US, they've only been in vogue in the late nineteenth century and the 1950s.

--the middle ground could be --that Disney would not bother to micromanage breast size with photo manipulation, but also that young actresses in Disney movies would not enhance or accentuate the breasts so that young boys (and old men) would find them unusually distracting. Breast-flaunting is in your face enough these days without Disney doing it too. We are far from the days when breasts can just be breasts, no more no less.

That photo in the dress was enhanced somehow. I've never seen her boobs look like that in anything she has ever worn. The ones in the bathing suit look like hers used to look and when you lose or gain weight (as a female) it comes from or goes straight to the boobs. The dress pic looks fake and photoshopped.
