I think this is a scam. I would do anything for my pets and it wouldn't involve begging. If it were my pet she/he would already have had the needed care and if unable to pay outright, I would have borrowed or pawned my stuff. ( I have pawned for pet care in the past). To beg on E-bay is shameless and selfish. I would rather send the money to my local no-kill shelter than to keep one dog alive for a selfish person.
