normally I catch them and carry them outside, but that's for Daddy Longlegs and those types of spiders.
This was big, hairy, and had some kind of pincers! And it lunged for my throat! I had to defend myself!
I made an amusing warbling/yodling sreech too. My daughter said she'd never heard such a noise before ...

But there are only two kinds of poisonous spiders in my part of the world, and I know what they look like, so everything else is "friend." Plus, they eat bad bugs!
