In Silicon Vally we make about 200K. For Silicon Valley that is middle class, but MANY here at DU deem the $ level as uber-wealthy. Try to get a house w/ 4 bedrooms out here for under 1 mil. (E Palo Alto not included). We are NOT RICH!!!!


It is a geographic paradigm. Where are the most desirable p[laces to live/work... which are the most undesirable??? Figure out cost of living from there,

6. Yeah as someone who is currently making

less then 20K after taxes...I would have gotten a 90K pay raise had I beaten JD in the general...Darn it!..that is quite well off. But it is California.

I am quite aware of the problems in my home state where half my family still lives in housing costs.
