2. WTF?
Yesterday, 97. Today, 97. Tomorrow, 97. Lather, rinse, repeat until at least the end of September.

Oh, every once in a while we'll get a random heavy downpour to throw us off, but being a weatherperson here in summer is like stealing money.

16. You forgot about the overnight lows of 72, 72, 72, and
the 20% chance of rain.

Sounds like the weather is Austin is pretty close to the weather in Houston... :D

3. I WISH it would be 62 degrees here today!
Window a/c units just don't cut it when it's 96 degrees outside and the humidity is somewhere around 4000%...

12. I was in Metrowest when the temperature drop happened
it was sweaty humid and 90, a torrential downpour, and I walked out of the store 10 minutes later and it was 60. Weird.

15. Same thing is starting to happen here...
Yesterday, it was around 95 with a heat index over 100. Today is supposed to be similar. By Saturday, it is only supposed to be in the low 70s.

i guess summer is over before it began.

torrential but brief downpour. It trashed most of my iris and poppy blooms but boy did my gardens love it. I was really pleased and really loathe gardening in sun baked packed dust. Ughhhh
